Nicholas Sikes brings a business and engineering mind-set into the development and commercialization of various biorefining processes. As Operations Manager at FEC Solutions, Nicholas assists ethanol plants in improving their co-product processes and brings technologies together in unique ways to significantly improve co-product opportunities. His areas of expertise include optimization of corn oil separation and connecting ethanol plants with technology partners to implement commercial scale processes at their existing sites. Prior to joining the FEC Solutions team, Nicholas worked in other bioenergy arenas including gasification and thermochemical processes for renewable diesel, and earned his MBA from Iowa State University.
